GEBA will be creating a hardcover pilot logbook. The price will be $20. At this time, we are accepting pre-orders (with $10 deposit) to determine how many logbooks we should order.

If you are interested, please contact Sally at sally.mazzocchi@gmail.com. The first 10 people to pre-order with deposit will be able to contribute to the contents of the logbook.

The Great Wellsville Balloon Rally

The Great Wellsville Balloon Rally is still looking for more balloons. The Rally is held July 20-22. It is a beautiful flying area located in Southcentral NY just a short distance north of PA. Festival provides a host family, Friday and Saturday dinner, Sunday brunch, pilot pack,and local wine for passengers or landowners. Passengers are available. Most likely you wont be there to see the smiles on the camp kids faces as they receive pins, cards, etc. But you can help make it a reality. Please search your drawers, closets, shoe boxes for extra pins, cards, and balloon trinkets.

Contact me to make arrangements, or bring them to the next GEBA functions (May meeting, June picnic).

Wondering if anyone has an extra aircraft radio to sell at a reasonable price. A few festivals now require an aircraft radio and it’s one item I still don’t have.

If anyone is having problems getting the buttons to work on the newly improved website it looks like an Internet Explorer issue. I updated to IE 9 and the problem seems to be resolved.
