FAA Safety Video #1 – Hot Air Ballooning Pilot Decision Making: Aircraft and Equipment Preflight  

At the May 6, 2001 GEBA membership meeting at Shawnee, the club members in attendance authorized n the board to make 250 copies of the FAA safety video.  This video, which our club played a prominent roll in, is a good intro to ballooning and safety.  The distribution of the copies will be handled as follows:

Each primary member is entitled to one free copy of the video – note: if you do not want your copy, you may want to give it to a school, first aid, fire, police, etc… 

Additional copies of the video for our members can be bought at cost –cash-‘n-carry (out of the first batch the cost will be in the neighborhood of $3.00 each).

Please note: 

The FAA has given us permission to make copies of their video, under the stipulation that it is NOT SOLD for profit  AND it is a COMPLETE copy  (no excerpts, no loss of titles, credits, etc).

GEBA does not want to be in the mailing business.

We will make the videos available at each GEBA function  (meetings, picnic, safety seminar …)

If you are unable to make it to a GEBA function to pick up your video, then please make arrangements through any of the board or committee chairpersons  (contact information is available in the front of the GEBA directory and also this website.
